This page explains how cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) are used on nmos.net and the user dashboard. Operator: NMOS.NET — Istanbul, Türkiye.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They support login, security, and remembering preferences. localStorage and sessionStorage can also hold preference or temporary data in the browser.
2. Cookies and similar technologies we use
2.1 Essential
PHP session cookie: required for login, security (CSRF), and dashboard access. The service cannot work without them.
2.2 Preferences (localStorage / session)
- Language preference (session / URL language)
- Theme preference (e.g. nmos_theme: light / dark / system)
- Dashboard UI preferences (e.g. selected site, page size, hidden columns, tour state)
- Temporary focus / navigation keys (sessionStorage)
These preferences are used to deliver the service as requested and are not sold to advertising networks.
2.3 Analytics / marketing
We may use Google Tag Manager (GTM-K3QJDBJV) and Google Analytics (gtag) to understand site usage. These analytics tags load only after you choose Accept on the cookie banner; if you Decline, they are not loaded. We do not use Meta Pixel or advertising cookies.
3. Tracking on customer sites
The meta tag, tracking.js, no-JS beacon, or WordPress / GTM / Cloudflare Worker installs on your site may store a session id in sessionStorage and send technical data (IP, User-Agent, URL, crawler signals) to our servers.
That runs on your website; informing visitors and complying with applicable cookie/ePrivacy rules is your responsibility. See the Privacy Policy and DPA.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You can also clear localStorage / sessionStorage via browser storage settings. Analytics preference can be set via Accept / Decline on the cookie banner. Disabling essential cookies may break login and dashboard features.
